COVID-19 Information
CHECKING IN
Contactless check-in is available for guests who book through our website. When making your reservation online, choose the “late check-in” option.
Masks are no longer mandatory in the motel office, however those who wish to wear a mask are encouraged to do so. Please don’t hesitate to ask us to wear one during your visit if it will make you more comfortable!
DURING YOUR STAY
Whenever possible, stay 2 metres (6 feet) away from other guests and staff on motel property (not including people you are traveling with).
Hand sanitizer and disposable masks are available at the front desk, and packets of sanitizing wipes are included in your room with every stay.
If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay, contact the Thunder Bay Assessment Centre for instructions at (807) 935-8100.
HOUSEKEEPING
All staff are given a COVID-19 screening questionnaire at the beginning of every shift, and are sent home with a rapid test if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Housekeeping staff are washing/sanitizing their hands frequently, and between each room they clean.
All linens are washed between each guest using hot water and bleach, and tumble-dried on high heat.
While cleaning rooms, windows are left wide open to ensure fresh air circulation and, when weather permits, we will leave the windows cracked open until you arrive.
After we complete our usual thorough room cleaning, all high-contact surfaces are sanitized with disinfectant. This includes chairs, tables and counter tops, doorknobs, light switches and lamps, TV remotes, faucets, toilet seats and flush handles, and heat and a/c controls.
Rooms are always thoroughly inspected by management after cleaning to ensure consistency.
FRONT DESK

Hand sanitizer is available to use at the desk. Disposable masks can be provided if you don’t have your own.
We are using a HEPA air purifier in the office, which runs 24 hours a day to remove particles from the air.
